BRT Customizer is designed to be easy to install and fully compatible with standard Redmine installations.
No manual configuration or file editing is required after installation.
Requirements and Compatibility #
BRT Customizer is compatible with:
Redmine 3.x and above
Including Redmine 4, 5 and 6
It works with both classic and modern Redmine installations.
Supported Environments #
The plugin has been tested and works correctly with:
Linux-based installations
Bitnami Redmine stacks
Redmine installed:
On a root domain (e.g.
https://domain.com)In a subpath (e.g.
https://domain.com/redmine)Using custom ports (e.g.
https://domain.com:3000)
No additional configuration is required for any of these setups.
Installation Steps #
- Unzip the file
- Upload the folder to Redmine’s plugin directory. Make sure the folder name is exactly
brt_customizer. - Restart Redmine.
No database migration is required. That’s all. You will find the new menu entry under Administration → BRT Customizer.
After Installation #
Once installed, you can:
Select Zenmine or Boostmine from Administration → Settings → Display
Open BRT Customizer
Start customizing using live preview
No cache clearing is needed.
Common Installation Notes #
The plugin does not overwrite any Redmine or theme files
Removing the plugin restores the original theme behavior
Multiple Redmine instances can use the same plugin package
