In Do it For Me Plans, we can ensure three working days as a maximum time frame to send the customized theme. However it usually doesn’t take more than 48 hours.

Boostmine and Zenmine are responsive, as Redmine is. If your Redmine is 3.2 or higher, when responsiveness was included in Redmine, then our themes will look responsive. But they can’t convert older Redmine versions in a responsive application.

Boostmine is not compatible with Internet Explorer, since it doesn’t support variables, which we use. Explorer’s browser share is currently minor and continuously decreasing. Therefore we decided not to support Explorer. Nevertheless if you like Boostmine and need IE compatibility, you can purchase a DIFM plan and ask for this compatibility when requesting the customization.

Not at all. Boostmine and Zenmine are not a plugin but a theme, therefore they are only built with stylesheets and icons. You can use them without fear of breaking the application.

No, sorry, our themes do not support RTL (right-to-left) languages.

Best Redmine Theme will send periodic updates announcements to your order email. The new theme files will be available in your Account dashboard.

Download the new theme files and substitute theme by your old files, EXCEPT for the customize.css and the favicon files, that should remain untouched if you want to keep the changes you made to the standard theme’s interface.

If you made the changes in the customize.css file correctly you should see them immediately. If you don’t see them, please clear your browser’s cookies and reload the page.

Not at all! The theme installation is pretty easy. Just connect to your server, go to /public/themes/ directory and copy /boostmine/ folder. Then go to your Redmine application > Administration > Settings > Display and change to Boostmine. *

That’s all! Easy peasy, isn’t it?

It is a usual “css” (Cascading Style Sheets) with instructions and commented lines. Just by commenting and uncommenting lines you can change the standard look of Boostmine or Zenmine dramatically.

With the theme file you get an additional customize.css file where you will find all theme parameters that can be changed easily. Just comment or uncomment a line and you will have a new theme in seconds!

The customize.css file is full of instructions so that you will be able to make changes without knowing how to code.

In case you can’t do it on your own, you will have a support team at your disposal to help you customizing the theme.

Our themes are compatible with any Redmine installation with a 2.6+ version up to 6.x. They are also compatible with many community plugins and with all RedmineUP plugins. View current list of supported plugins.

Yes, with a single license you will be able to install the theme in your development installation and in your production installation at the same time.

Yes! In case you are not able to use our customization file included in the theme, we offer support so that you can customize your theme to match your corporate design requirements. We’ll do our very best to resolve any issues you encounter via our exhaustive knowledge base and our support page. Please take note, that we only offer support for customizing the parameters included in the customize.css file, not for the whole theme. Read our Terms of Support. 

Yes! Periodic updates are available free of charge to all users with a valid BestRedmineTheme’s plan.

Our themes are sold as a one-time payment with no subscription. Once cancelled, your license key will not renew automatically and will expire on the expiration date. Once expired, you will no longer receive automatic updates or have access to support. You may manually renew your license at any time to reactivate your subscription. We will remind you before expiry date so you can decide to renew the license or not.

Your license is valid for one year from the purchase date. You need an active license for continued access to theme updates and support, but you will be able to use the theme without renewing the license. In case you buy the ALL THEMES LIFETIME ACCESS you will not need to renew the license.

Yes, prices shown in the website are VAT excluded, since the corresponding tax for each country is calculated by the Paddle Payments Gateway.

Nevertheless you may be elegible to avoid the VAT amount depending on which country you are resident in. You can inform your VAT ID during the Paddle checkout process.

BRT Customizer is a plugin that allows Redmine administrators to customize Zenmine and Boostmine themes through a web-based panel, without manually editing CSS files. All changes are applied live and can be previewed instantly.

No. One of the main goals of BRT Customizer is to eliminate direct file manipulation. All theme settings and custom CSS are managed from the Redmine administration interface and stored safely in the database.

Currently, BRT Customizer supports Zenmine and Boostmine themes.

⚠️ For automatic detection to work, the theme folder name must include the words “zenmine” or “boostmine”.

No. BRT Customizer is built exclusively for Zenmine and Boostmine themes.

The plugin relies on theme-specific structures, variables, and assets that are only available in these themes. Other Redmine themes are not supported, and BRT Customizer will not apply any customization to them.

If Zenmine or Boostmine is not installed and active, the plugin remains inactive and does not affect Redmine in any way.

Yes. BRT Customizer includes a live preview panel that updates instantly as you modify colors, layout options, images, or custom CSS, allowing you to fine-tune the design before saving.

Yes. BRT Customizer includes an Extra CSS section where you can add any additional rules. These styles are appended after the generated CSS.

Absolutely. You can download a full JSON backup of your theme settings at any time and restore it later or move it to another Redmine installation with the same theme.

You simply copy the plugin folder into Redmine’s plugins directory and restart Redmine. No additional configuration steps, database migrations, or server-side file edits are required.

Once installed, the plugin appears in the Redmine administration menu, where administrators can immediately start customizing supported themes through the web interface.

No. BRT Customizer is designed to be safe and non-intrusive.

It does not modify Redmine core files, database schemas, or theme source files. All changes are applied via dynamically generated CSS, so disabling the plugin or turning off its settings immediately restores the original appearance.

No. BRT Customizer does not require database migrations.

All settings are stored using Redmine’s standard plugin settings mechanism, which means installation and upgrades are simple and safe.

No. Uninstalling BRT Customizer will not affect the normal operation of your Zenmine or Boostmine theme.

The plugin only adds optional, dynamically generated CSS. If it is removed, the theme will continue to work exactly as originally designed, simply without the customizations applied through BRT Customizer.

If the plugin is disabled, Redmine will simply stop loading the custom CSS generated by BRT Customizer. Your themes will revert to their original, unmodified state with no side effects.

Yes. BRT Customizer only affects the visual layer (CSS) and does not interfere with business logic, workflows, or other plugins. It is compatible with typical Redmine plugin stacks.

No. In any case the impact is negligible. The plugin generates lightweight CSS and injects it efficiently. No heavy JavaScript runs on normal Redmine pages, and no additional database queries are added to daily usage.

BRT Customizer can be purchased together with Zenmine or Boostmine, or as a standalone plugin only for customers who already own a valid license for one of these themes.

The plugin is designed to work exclusively with Zenmine and Boostmine and cannot be used without one of these themes installed.

If your Zenmine or Boostmine theme has been customized by manually editing CSS files, those customizations will not be automatically imported into BRT Customizer.

To use the plugin, customizations need to be recreated using the BRT Customizer panel, which replaces manual CSS editing with a centralized, web-based configuration.

This approach ensures better maintainability, easier updates, and safer future theme upgrades.
