Theme Questions
Will the themes work on my Redmine?
Our themes are compatible with any Redmine installation with a 2.6+ version up to 5.x. They are also compatible with many community plugins and with all RedmineUP plugins. View current list of supported plugins. Remember: this doesn’t mean other plugins won’t look great in our themes!
Will your themes look great in tablets and smartphones?
Definitely yes! We have dedicated a huge amount of development hours to make Boostmine and Zenmine look great on any device, desktop, tablets, smartphones, whether landscape or portrait. Your productivity is assured.
How will I be able to customize the theme?
With the theme file you get an additional customize.css file where you will find all theme parameters that can be changed easily. Just comment or uncomment a line and you will have a new theme in seconds!
The customize.css file is full of instructions so that you will be able to make changes without knowing how to code.
In case you can’t do it on your own, you will have a support team at your disposal to help you customizing the theme.
What theme elements can I change?
You can modify many theme elements like colors, fonts, logos…

How does the Customize.css file look like?
It is a usual “css” (Cascading Style Sheets) with instructions and commented lines. Just by commenting and uncommenting lines you can change the standard look of Boostmine or Zenmine dramatically.

Do I need to restart the server or perform any complicated Redmine database migration task?
Not at all! The theme installation is pretty easy. Just connect to your server, go to /public/themes/ directory and copy /boostmine/ folder. Then go to your Redmine application > Administration > Settings > Display and change to Boostmine. *

I made some changes to the theme but I don’t see them
If you made the changes in the customize.css file correctly you should see them immediately. If you don’t see them, please clear your browser’s cookies and reload the page.
How can the theme be updated?
Best Redmine Theme will send periodic updates announcements to your order email. The new theme files will be available in your Account dashboard. Download the new theme files and substitute theme by your old files, EXCEPT for the customize.css and the favicon files, that should remain untouched if you want to keep the changes you made to the standard theme's interface.
Do your themes support RTL (right-to-left) writing systems?
Not yet, sorry. But we have this in our roadmap.
Can your themes break my Redmine app?
Not at all. Boostmine and Zenmone are not a plugin but a theme, therefore they are only built with stylesheets and icons. You can use them without fear of breaking the application.
Will your theme work with any web browser?

Are your themes responsive?
Boostmine and Zenmine are responsive, as Redmine is. If your Redmine is 3.2 or higher, when responsiveness was included in Redmine, then our themes will look responsive. But they can’t convert older Redmine versions in a responsive application.
DIFM Plans: How long does it take until you send the customized theme?
In Do it For Me Plans, we can ensure three working days as a maximum time frame to send the customized theme. However it usually doesn’t take more than 48 hours.

In what way is contributing Best Redmine Theme to Redmine’s community?
Since our themes are based on an open-source platform like Redmine, we also want to contribute to its great community. We are proud Gold Donors for Redmine.
Do you apply VAT to your prices?
Yes, prices shown in the website are VAT excluded, since the corresponding tax for each country is calculated by the Paddle Payments Gateway.
Nevertheless you may be elegible to avoid the VAT amount depending on which country you are resident in. You can inform your VAT ID during the Paddle checkout process.
What is Paddle Payments?
Paddle Payments is the secure billing and payment gateway used to place an order in Best Redmine Theme website.
With Paddle Gateway you will be able to pay with Paypal or any credit card (VISA, Mastercard or Amex).
In Best Redmine Theme we never have access to your payment details (credit card details or Paypal account); all these data are transferred to Paddle under an https secure connection. Can I obtain a valid tax invoice for my purchase?
Yes, after payment you may obtain a full invoice from Paddle, the billing gateway. You will receive an email from help@paddle.com with your receipt (please check your spam folder if necessary).

Do you offer a trial?
Due to the nature of the product, we don’t offer a trial but we do have a 30 Day Money Back Guarantee so you can try Boostmine risk-free on your own Redmine application.
Do you have a refund policy?
Yes we do! We firmly stand behind the quality of our product and will refund 100% of your money within 30 days of purchase if you are unhappy with the plugin and meet the conditions stated in our refund policy.
Do I need to renew my license?
Your license is valid for one year from the purchase date. You need an active license for continued access to theme updates and support, but you will be able to use the theme without renewing the license.
In case you buy the ALL THEMES LIFETIME ACCESS you will not need to renew the license.
I don’t want a subscription
Our themes are sold as a one-time payment with no subscription. Once cancelled, your license key will not renew automatically and will expire on the expiration date. Once expired, you will no longer receive automatic updates or have access to support. You may manually renew your license at any time to reactivate your subscription. We will remind you before expiry date so you can decide to renew the license or not.
Will I get updates for the theme?
Yes! Periodic updates are available free of charge to all users with a valid BestRedmineTheme's plan.
Do you offer support if I need help?
Yes! In case you are not able to use our customization file included in the theme, we offer support so that you can customize your theme to match your corporate design requirements. We’ll do our very best to resolve any issues you encounter via our exhaustive knowledge base and our support page. Please take note, that we only offer support for customizing the parameters included in the customize.css file, not for the whole theme. Read our Terms of Support.

With a single license, will I be able to deploy it both on my development and production installations?
Yes, with a single license you will be able to install the theme in your development installation and in your production installation at the same time.
